Kent County task force to examine deer population

A Kent County task force will work to determine if the area has a deer population problem.

Kent County Road Commission managing director Jerry Byrne says they see deer everywhere and have to pick up them from rural roads and also the S-curve.

Last fall residents in Grand Rapids raised concerns about the deer population.

The county decided to create a task force with representatives from the county's cities and townships.
