Michigan State Police are holding a purse drive for domestic violence victims.
MSP Lakeview Post is partnering with Relief After Violent Encounter, a domestic violence shelter in Ionia, for the "Purses with a Purpose."
MSP is collecting new or gently used purses with items like toiletries, flashlights, hand sanitizer, Kleenex and more.
Other MSP posts throughout the state are hosting donation drivers as well.
