KALAMAZOO (WOOD-AM) - A Sunday fire at a days inn near the Kalamazoo-Battle Creek International Airport is being investigated as suspicious.
Investigators say it started in a conference room on the second floor that no one should have been in.
“I need to substantiate the actual information that we’re given, right, so there’s a lot of cameras out there and there’s a lot of people to talk to,” Fire Marshal Scott Brooks told WOOD-TV. “We can’t rule anything out.”
The hotel has been condemned.
