GRPD: Pedestrian, 60, killed on northeast side of city

GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - Grand Rapids police say a 60-year-old pedestrian has been struck and killed by a vehicle on Plainfield Avenue.

It happened in front of a Belle Tire on the northeast side of the city around 10 p.m.

Police say the driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.

The victim's name has not been released.
