Hambley, Ottawa County agree to drop lawsuits

WEST OLIVE (WOOD-AM) - Ottawa County and Adeline Hambley, the administrative health officer for the county, are reportedly dropping lawsuits against each other.

Hambley is also keeping her job.

The county commission attempted to fire Hambley at their first meeting. She sued in February of last year, saying the move wasn't legal.

Board members countered, saying Hambley had not been properly appointed by the previous board, but that was overruled by the state appeals court.
