BATTLE CREEK (WOOD-AM) - A 29-year-old Texas man was shot and killed by Battle Creek police during a gunfight inside inside a downtown coffee shop.
An officer was injured, but is expected to survive.
Michigan State Police will be taking over the investigation, which is standard protocol.
The man's name has not yet been released.
The officer who shot him is on administrative leave.
