The city of Grand Rapids is preparing for early voting ahead of the February primary.
Registered voters in the state of Michigan can vote up to eight days early since a 2022 ballot proposal passed.
Grand Rapids City Clerk Joel Hondorp says voters can go to Grand Rapids University Preparatory Academy, Ottawa Hills High School or Saint Peter and Paul School to vote early.
Hondorp says the early voting will look very similar to election day.
No results will be shared until polls close on election night.
