A Grand Rapids man is heading back to jail after his latest shoplifting spree.
Richard Kuikstra has retail fraud convictions dating back to 1988.
His latest string of thefts began a few weeks after he got out of prison in January.
Investigators say he has stolen more than $8,000 worth of items from nearly a dozen stores in the last several months.
