Hambley removal hearing expected to enter sixth day this afternoon

OLIVE TOWNSHIP (WOOD-AM) - Ottawa County Administrative Health Officer Adeline Hambley's removal hearing is expected to enter its sixth day this afternoon.

It's not clear if any action is going to be taken.

Hambley is accused of misconduct in the way she handled this year’s budgeting process.

Yesterday, a Muskegon County judge delayed a hearing over a possible settlement.

Hambley's attorney, Sara Howard, claims her client and the county board agreed on a $4 million settlement in exchange for her resignation.

David Kallman, the attorney who represents the board, says the deal was never final.
