WYOMING (WOOD-AM) - The plant manager of the General Motors Grand Rapids Operations site in Wyoming says the automaker has made a historic offer to the United Auto Workers union.

Troy Comiskey says GM's offer includes a 20 percent raise and puts the company in position for more investment into existing plants.

"We've had what we’ve said is a record offer on the table now since July 18th," Comiskey said. "We've put five offers on the table.”

He says they have negotiated in good faith and says he is concerned the facility could get included in the UAW's strike against all three automakers.

GM's Lansing-Delta Township facility was added to the strike last week.
