The Gerald R. Ford International Airport is making the list of top 20 small airports by USA TODAY's Reader's Choice Awards.
Director of engineering and planning Casey Ries says the national recognition is a great and they were excited to hear about the news.
The airport is hoping to make it into the next round and place on the 10Best list.
The community can vote for the airport online.
