Michigan State University cancels classes on anniversary of shooting

Michigan State University interim president Teresa Woodruff is cancelling classes for the one-year anniversary of the shooting on campus.

Classes will not meet on February 13,2024.

Woodruff says classes will resume on February 14 but assignments and exams will not be due until February 15.

She says the university is planning a remembrance event that will take place during that time.
