The Great Lakes Surf Festival will be held in Muskegon at Pere Marquette Beach on August 12.
The event will run from 12:30 p.m. until 6 p.m. and will include paddleboard lessons, yoga on the beach, surfing, activities for kids, food trucks and vendors.
Thirty Muskegon businesses will be decorating surfboards that will be available for purchase as well.
All of the money will be put toward the Pierhead Lighthouse Renovation project.
