GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Michigan State Police say a 19-year-old man from Cedar Springs died this morning after his vehicle veered off northbound US-131 and hit a tree.
That was around 7 o'clock near I-96.
Police say they don't know yet what led to the crash. First responders attempted life-saving treatment at the crash scene, but police say the young man later died at a hospital. His name hasn't been released yet.
