COLUMBIA TOWNSHIP (WOOD-AM) - Around 45 animals have been rescued from a property in Van Buren County's Columbia Township.
Sheriff’s deputies and officials with the Department of Homeland Security found cats, chickens, dogs, ducks, goats and a horse inside a house on 50th Street.
Dead animals were also found in pens with live animals that did not have access to food or water.
The investigation is ongoing.
