MUSKEGON HEIGHTS (WOOD-AM) - Police Chief Maurice Sain will serve as the acting Muskegon Heights city manager for the next week.
Sain has served the city in a law enforcement capacity for more than twenty years.
Yesterday's city council vote was unanimous.
Muskegon Heights is currently without a city attorney, finance manager, human resources department and an assessor.
The council opted to not renew Troy Bell's contract.
