A Kent County organization is helping young people find housing and secure documents for their independence.
The As You Are Youth Collective has helped more than 65 individuals ages 14 to 24 find a home and recover personal documents.
The group has a drop-in location on State Street in downtown Grand Rapids.
Youth advocate Korey Mills says they help with any resources youth need to become more independent like employment, counseling and more.
