Boston Square Together project receiving $1M from state

The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy is approving a $1 million brownfield redevelopment grant for the Boston Square Together project.

The project aims to redesign Kalamazoo Avenue between Ramona and Adams streets.

The first phase of the project will include two mixed-use buildings that will house apartments and commercial space.

The project is also expected to include an amphitheater, outdoor space, townhomes and a market.
