GR residents choosing how to spend $2M

Results are in after the city of Grand Rapids asked the community to help decide how to spend some of their tax dollars.

A total of $2M will be spent across the city's three wards.

The First Ward will receive $600,000, while the Second Ward will receive $400,000 and the Third Ward will receive $1M.

First Ward voters chose childcare for 3rd shift workers as their priority for spending.

Second Ward community members selected community health response as their top priority.

The Third Ward chose lead waterline replacement as their project.
