The Michigan Republican Party is cancelling its election night watch party after threats were made at the party's headquarters Tuesday morning.
Officials say violent threats were made toward a female staffer around 7:45 a.m.
Lansing Police responded to the report, however the suspect was no longer on the scene.
Gustavo Portela, spokesperson for the MI GOP, says they received several death threats this week as well.
