1 A Detroit police officer was killed in the line of duty Wednesday night.
The officer was responding to a call of shots fired when he was killed.
The suspect was then killed by the officer's partner.
2 Michigan gubernatorial candidate Ryan Kelley is due in court today in DC, facing misdemeanor charges stemming from Jan. 6.
3 UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson is stepping down.
It’s possible Johnson will remain in office until October when the Conservative party meets for its annual conference. More than 50 ministers have resigned from the government since Tuesday.
