Grand Rapids Police say a 17-year-old was taken to the hospital Tuesday morning after being shot while inside a car.
Dispatchers received calls around 11:30 a.m. reporting gunshots at the intersection of 28th Street and Eastern Avenue.
The vehicle that was hit kept driving and someone inside called police.
Officers met the vehicle at 36th Street and Kalamazoo Avenue.
