Autopsy says GVSU student's BAC .22

An autopsy reports shows Grand Valley State University freshman Brendan Santo was intoxicated when he drowned.

The report says Santo had a BAC of .22 and also tested positive for caffeine and ethanol.

Officials say Santo's cause of death was drowning with alcohol as a contributing factor.

He went missing on October 29, 2021 while attending the Michigan-Michigan State football game.
