The city of Holland is considering a proposal to redevelop waterfront.
City Manager Keith Van Veek says community members have wished to connect downtown Holland and the waterfront for years.
The city has one proposal from a firm that has previously done work for the city.
The proposal includes relocating the James DeYoung power plant to free up space for waterfront redevelopment.
