Grand Rapids has a new police chief.
After serving in the Chicago Police Department for more than 20 years, Eric Winstrom will serve as Grand Rapids' 15th police chief.
Winstrom says he is eager to lead the department and get to know the community.
He says some of his biggest priorities are holding his officer to high standards and working alongside others in crime prevention.
