1 What could be Whitmer’s last sad state of the state speech took place in an empty factory last night.
In what some are calling a desperate last ditch effort to save herself and buy votes, she proposed various tax cuts and projects.
She also proposed a cap on insulin costs at $50.
2 Breyer to Retire
Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer is expected to formally announce his plans to retire today, clearing the way for President Biden to name his first nomination to the high court. He has vowed to fill the vacancy with an African American woman, which would represent a historic first.
