Liquor Commission asking bars to space out orders

The Michigan Liquor Control Commission is asking bars and restaurants to space out their orders to ease the stress on their suppliers.

In a memo, the MLCC asked businesses to order larger quantities every couple of weeks instead of weekly.

The commission says the changes could avoid future delays.

The state says there are currently no liquor or labor shortages.
