WMU changing fully vaccinated definition

Western Michigan University is redefining the term of "fully vaccinated" against COVID-19.

Starting January 17, the definition will include a booster shot.

Students, staff and faculty will have until that date to get a booster shot, or undergo regular testing.

WMU President Edward Montgomery says they made the decision with guidance from local and federal agencies.
