Short Lockdown at Some Grand Haven Schools Following Bank Robbery

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. - The Grand Haven Department of Public Safety is searching for a man who robbed the Lake Michigan Credit Union on Jackson Avenue around 10:30 a.m.

Investigators say the man got away with cash, but currently the amount is unknown.

Ferry Elementary, White Pines Middle School, Griffin Elementary and Grand Haven Christian School were advised to lockdown as police responded to the incident. The lockdown was lifted once the robber was believed to be no longer around.
