Three-Car Crash Near Holland Injures Two

HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. - A crash around 5 p.m. on Sunday near Holland injured two people, including a six-year-old boy near the intersection of 144th Avenue and Quincy Street.

The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office says a 21-year-old Holland man was heading north when it slowed for a dog, but a trailing car, driven by a 39-year-old woman was not able to stop in time. The woman and a six-year-old passenger had to be extricated from the car. Both were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

There were no other reports of injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
