Man Arrested in Connection to Teenager's 1981 Disappearance

GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - A man is jailed in connection to the 1981 disappearance of a 14-year-old Forest Hills Central Middle School student.

James Frisbie, 61, is accused of lying to the investigators who were tasked with finding Deanie Peters.

He was arrested on July 2 and was later charged with purjury, a county prosecutor said.

“Obviously, this is an important case, and we are doing what we can to solve it for the family,” Kent County Prosecutor Chris Becker told WOOD-TV.
