GRPS Still Requiring Masks in Schools

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - On Tuesday, the mask mandate in Michigan is being lifted for everyone, but some school districts are not going to change quite yet.

Grand Rapids Public Schools says they are going to require masks for all students and staff through the end of the summer, while also performing daily health screenings and practicing social distancing.

The district will not require masks outside. GRPS has not yet decided on if masks are required next school year.
