Officials say they are investigating a shooting that involved a Michigan State Police Trooper.
The incident happened around 3 p.m. Monday on Oak Road near 132nd Avenue in Heath Township.
Authorities say the trooper was responding to a breaking and entering call.
When troopers arrived, an altercation took place in the yard and a trooper shot the suspect.
It is unclear if the suspect was armed.
