Thousands of Affidavits Being Delivered to Lansing Today -FULL SHOW 6-17-21

Matt DePerno returns with the latest on the demands for a full forensic audit of the 2020 election.

The Big Three 6-17-21

1 The Michigan Senate passed legislation yesterday to require photo ID to vote in person and for people who want to vote by mail.

The bills are among Republican-sponsored measures to tighten voting rules in states.

Democrat Gov. Gretchen Whitmer would veto the bills if they reach her desk, but the GOP could sidestep her with a maneuver letting the Legislature enact ballot proposals.

“Let Freedom Ring” rally, will deliver over 7,000 notarized affidavits demanding a statewide audit of Michigan’s 2020 election, as allowed by the Michigan Constitution Today in Lansing.

2 Spectrum Health has updated its visitor policy for COVID-19 patients. Now, each patient is allowed up to two visitors.

Gov. Whitmer was in Grand Rapids yesterday and hinted at the possibility of opening up and lifting restrictions before her planned July 1st date.

3 Congress has approved a new federal holiday.

The House voted 415-14 on Wednesday to make Juneteenth, or June 19th, the 12th federal holiday.

President Biden will sign the bill into law today.

Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, when Union soldiers brought the news of freedom to enslaved Black people in Galveston, Texas — two months after the Confederacy had surrendered.

2 1/2 years after the Emancipation Proclamation freed slaves.

It’s the first new federal holiday since Martin Luther King Jr. Day was created in 1983.
