MI reports 293 COVID cases as outbreak continues to improve

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services is confirming 293 cases of COVID.

The state also confirmed 56 deaths, of which 37 were found during records checks.

State labs tested at a positivity rate of 2.16 percent on Monday.

Kent County confirmed 20 cases and three deaths.
