Passenger Numbers at GRR Improving, Not Quite at Pre-Pandemic Levels

GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - More people are flying into and out of the Ford International Airport, but numbers aren't quite back to where they were before the start of the coronavirus pandemic, officials at the facility tell WOOD-TV.

The airport's chief operating officer says Memorial Day travel was about 80 percent of what it was in 2019. Spring break numbers were around 86 percent.
