Discussions Over BLM, Teacher Petitions at Hudsonville School Board Meeting

HUDSONVILLE (WOOD-AM) - Two online petitions generated public comment during last night's school board meeting in Hudsonville.

One asks for Black Lives Matter content to be removed from schools, while the other calls for the firing of a teacher accused of promoting abortion.

"No social or political agenda should be pushed on any kid in a public school system," one speaker said.

Neither item was on the agenda. No action was taken.
