A Michigan Department of Natural Resources officer rescued a dog in Newaygo on Wednesday.
A family reported a dog named Cody missing after he fell about 100 feet off a cliff near the Muskegon River.
Officer Jeff Ginn took his patrol vessel out on the river to try to find the dog.
Cody was found after searching for an hour.
He was warmed up and reunited with his family.
