DETROIT, Mich. - The Michigan Restaurant and Lodging Association sued on Tuesday in hopes of stopping the ban on indoor dining that comes from Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's administration response to the recent rise in COVID-19 cases.
The group has said that it has made efforts to reach a compromise with the state health department, and could have further reduced risk while keeping their indoor dining rooms open.
