Boulder Ridge animal park in Kent County opens despite stay at home order

BOWNE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) —Boulder Ridge Wild Animal Park in Alto has become another one of the Michigan businesses opening before the stay at home order expires May 28.

Josh Baker, the park manager at Boulder Ridge Wildlife Animal Park said of the early opening, “There’s always going to be that worry. And we’ll just kind of roll with it and we can’t live on ‘what-ifs. And we’re just going to wait until it happens and go from there.”

Management of Boulder Ridge said this decision has nothing to do with gaining a competitive edge.
