OVERISEL TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD TV) — A two-vehicle crash in rural Allegan County on Thursday has taken the life of a woman from Byron Center.
The fatal crash happened around 2:40 p.m. at the intersection of 142nd Avenue and 40th Street in Overisel Township, southeast of Zeeland, according to troopers with The Michigan State Police.
The driver of a compact car at the scene didn’t stop at the stop sign and drove into the path of a pickup truck. The driver of the car was a 64-year-old woman from Byron Center who died due to injuries in the crash..
