Ford Airport gets $14 million from FAA for upgrades

CASCADE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (via WOOD TV) — The Gerald R. Ford International is getting $14 million in federal funding to improve its infrastructure.

The U.S. Department of Transportation announced the Federal Aviation Administration grants Wednesday.

The FAA says the funding will be used for renovations to the taxiway and for tarmac construction.
