2 arrested in Montcalm County drive-by shooting

REYNOLDS TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Two men were arrested after a drive-by shooting in Montcalm County Friday.

It happened around 1:30 a.m. Friday in the 18000 block of West Church Road in Reynolds Township, near Howard City.  

The Montcalm County Sheriff's Office said shots were fired from a passing vehicle, hitting a house. The homeowner who was outside the home and two people inside were not injured.

While deputies were on scene, the suspect vehicle drove by. Deputies followed the vehicle, but were not able to arrest the suspects. One suspect was believed to be a 23-year-old Howard City man, according to a sheriff's office news release.
