Oakridge HS coach accused of inappropriate conduct

EGELSTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — The Muskegon County Sheriff’s Office says it’s investigating allegations of inappropriate conduct by a coach at Oakridge High School.

Investigators say school administrators learned of the allegations from student athletes. The district said administrators were notified Friday that a coach who is also a teacher “may have engaged in unprofessional behavior.”

Oakridge Public Schools says it’s placed the coach on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation. The district also said “board policy will guide further actions regarding this matter.”
