Man killed in Wyoming crash ID'd; Chicago Dr. back open

WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) — Wyoming authorities are identifying the  motorcyclist killed in a Thursday morning crash involving a semi-truck.

It happened around 7:30 a.m. near the intersection of Chicago Drive and Collingwood Avenue.

The  Wyoming Department of Public Safety says 26-year-old Bryce Nuiver of  Jenison was killed in the crash. A previous release from police listed  an incorrect first name for Nuiver.

Investigators determined  Nuiver was heading east on Chicago Drive when he collided with a  semi-truck that pulled out of a private driveway and into his path.

Police said Nuiver died at the scene. The driver of the semi-truck, whose name has not been released, was not injured.

Both  directions of Chicago Drive between Burlingame and Byron Center avenues  remain closed as authorities investigate the incident. The road  reopened around 11 a.m. Thursday.
