Kzoo Co. sheriff, deputy save 2 who OD'ed outside Qdoba

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Swift action by Kalamazoo County Sheriff Richard Fuller saved the lives of two men who overdosed outside a Qdoba.

Fuller found the two men in the restaurant’s parking lot at 4403 W. Main Street in Kalamazoo around 6:19 p.m. Tuesday.

Fuller contacted paramedics; Deputy Copeland also responded to the scene with the overdose reversal drug, Narcan.

Copeland and Fuller treated both men with Narcan and monitored them until Emergency Medical Services arrived.

Authorities say the 23-year-old man and 28-year-old man overdosed on heroin.
