Jeffrey Willis Convicted Of Kidnapping, Killing Jessica Heeringa

Jeffrey Willis has been found guilty of kidnapping and murder in the 2013 disappearance and death of Norton Shores gas station attendant Jessica Heeringa.

A Muskegon County jury handed down that verdict around Wednesday evening, not long after closing arguments.

Willis will be sentenced June 12th.

It is the second murder conviction for Willis, who was found guilty in November 2017 of killing Rebekah Bletsch as she jogged near her home in Dalton Township in 2014.

Willis has yet to stand trial for allegedly attempting to kidnap a teenager in 2016.

Heeringa's body has never been found.
