KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — A motorcycle driver's helmet saved him from serious injury in a crash in Kalamazoo Sunday, police say.
The crash happened around 4:30 p.m. near the intersection of Parkview Avenue and Campus Drive.
The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says the 21-year-old motorcyclist was headed east when he hit a car that had stopped to make a turn. The motorcyclist's head went through the rear window of the car and then hit the pavement.
