GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A  well-known, longtime host of the "Free Beer & Hot Wings" radio show based in Grand Rapids has been arrested in Illinois for domestic battery.

Joseph Gassmann, who goes by the stage name “Producer Joe” on the WGRD show, was arrested Sunday, March 18 in DuPage County on the lone battery charge.
