Grand Rapids Millennials Lead The Pack In U.S. Home Ownership

MLive reports, Millennials in West Michigan are leading the pack when it comes to home ownership. 

In a report from Trulia.com, stats suggest that individuals between 28 and 32 years old in Grand Rapids were more likely to own homes than older peers in other U.S. cities (2015).

In the Grand Rapids metropolitan area, nearly 89 percent of millennials did not live with their parents or grandparents. Of that group, 57.3 percent were homeowners - the highest rate in the nation.

Only in Philadelphia were millennials more successful, according to the survey of the 100 largest cities in the U.S.
